01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Located in Happy Valley, Oregon, Biscuits Cafe is a standout breakfast restaurant that brings comfort food to a whole new level. Specializing in classic American breakfast fare with a hearty twist, this cozy eatery prides itself on serving up satisfying plates that keep locals and visitors coming back for more. Whether you crave traditional biscuits and gravy or seek inventive vegan options, Biscuits Cafe offers a diverse menu that caters to every morning appetite.

The star of the show has to be their iconic Biscuits and Gravy Combos. Imagine flaky, buttery biscuits smothered in rich, savory sausage gravy, paired perfectly with two eggs cooked any style and your choice of ham, bacon, or sausage links. The option to add crispy hashbrowns, golden red potatoes, or indulgent loaded hashbrowns elevates this hearty plate into a feast that starts your day on the right note. The cozy textures meld into an irresistible bite that comforts and delights.

For those embracing plant-based living, Biscuits Cafe doesn’t disappoint. The Vegan French Toast Combo is crafted using a vegan egg batter that produces a tender, custardy toast perfectly complemented by vegan “sausage” patties, making it a flavorful and thoughtful alternative. Meanwhile, the Vegan Breakfast Burrito packs a punch with veggies, refried beans, vegan chorizo sausage, and gooey vegan cheese wrapped in a crispy flour tortilla - a hearty, flavorful way to fuel your morning.

What truly makes Biscuits Cafe special is the friendly, welcoming atmosphere paired with speedy service. Nestled inside a modest strip mall, its unpretentious setting is complemented by warm hospitality and a sense of local charm. Guests like Kain appreciate the surprisingly expansive menu and delicious homemade-style salsa, while Quinlan Ironwood raves about the impeccable service and memorable flavors that leave a lasting impression—“I want to eat this every day of my life,” they share enthusiastically.

The menu extends beyond breakfast plates, offering tempting merchandise like freshly baked cinnamon rolls (available in two- or four-packs), signature coffee mugs, and retail coffee blends for you to enjoy at home. Whether you’re settling in with a flavorful cup of joe or treating yourself to a sweet, cinnamon-infused pastry, Biscuits Cafe combines quality and comfort in every product.

While some diners mention that the hashbrowns could benefit from a bit more crispiness, the generous portions and attention to detail throughout the menu consistently win high praise. Bryan’s glowing review highlights the indulgent experience of savoring biscuits and gravy alongside stuffed hashbrowns and bacon, perfectly paired with a uniquely garnished Bloody Mary—“awesome job folks.”

Biscuits Cafe is a delightful breakfast destination where warmth and flavor come together in perfect harmony. Whether you’re a traditionalist craving hearty classics or a vegan food lover seeking inventive options, this spot in Happy Valley offers a genuine taste of morning bliss.

Good spot. Fast service. Friendly. Menu was surprisingly expansive. Included a mix of unique items. Breakfast burrito.delicious. Crispy tortilla. Used refried beans. Salsa was delicious. Not sure if,it is homemade but it was on point. Price is right was you'd expect. Not expensive. Priced appropriately. Location is random. Inside a little strip.mall. Easy access to the highway. I'd go again.

Biscuits was an overall decent brunch choice. The fries are delicious as well the burger. The omelettes are also a good choice, but I didn’t like the hash browns at all. They could have been a bit more crispy for my liking & they were also salty! You get a lot of food for the price. It’s worth trying

The food was amazing. I had biscuits and gravy, stuffed hash browns and bacon. They had to stop Mr from licking the plate the food was so good. Top it off with a bloody mary with lots of accoutrements including a slice of candied bacon. Awesome job folks. Only dtaw back is they are a little spendy but well worth it.

I had the vegan French toast plate and oh my goodness, I was shocked how delicious it was…not cheap at $20 a plate but for me, it was worth it because vegan French toast with vegan eggs is so rare to find. They also had vegan butter and vegan sausage on the plate. Highly recommend weather you are vegan or not! The decor was certainly nothing to write home about, but the food was so good I will definitely be back. :)
